The PH still gets the keyboard and back cover free, right? Other countries you gotta wait for a promo. Sometimes just discounted not a freebie. Or you get the lesser keyboard

Yes, I think only in PH. It's they way of getting sales. In their website, only the discounted price. But when you go to the Samsung Store then ask if what's the freebies included, they will tell you. And that is why, I always buy my stuff physically face to face and for them also do the checking of the device.

I got mine from Samsung online with a nice discount and an almost next day delivery.

How about demonstrating in front of you if the item is defective or not . They must show it to you right?

I suppose, so. But the odds of getting a lemon is really low. They must have a QA that approves these before delivery. I haven't gotten a lemon - yet. It's more common to get the device fuxored after an update.

I have a competing device from a local telco. The rider left it with my aunt like it were a 100php item. Still worked out of the box.
