Galaxy GalleryI feel like anyone who has been to Toronto in the recent years has a picture almost identical to this one but it's one of my favourite. The sign has only been around for a few years now but has become a prominent symbol in the Toronto area.
It rests near Nathan Phillips square and plays well into contrasting light versus dark. The buildings in the background display the ever growing city that continues to become brighter and brighter as the years go by. It's a double edged sword as it never feels like its in a finished shape but creates for a "City that never sleeps" vibe which makes downtown feel almost cozy at night. I know that's weird as some would find downtown creepy at night but there's something so comforting about the way every aspect plays in together to create a special vibe.
