Yes, you're right DickSmith, which is owned by Kogan I beleive, does carry them.
They tend to sell a lot of grey market stuff, which is fine if the customer is aware of it.

Edit: wow the filter is a little OTT 😂 🤣

Unfortunately, I dont think Samsung Australia has plans to release them here.

I got my SmartTag+ via an official Samsung New Zealand reseller.

Certainly have to watch out for the grey market stuff.

Hopefully Samsung can release them in Australia as I think they are a great idea👌

It does seem odd. But as @Dolgogi said in previous post they are probably grey market.
