always on display issue

Not sure why but under Layouts the "Show Notifications " lever is greyed out and cannot slide to the right,preventing me to take advantage of the notifications when the phone is locked.

make sure the always on display software is up to date.

same issue here! New replacement note 7 - software updated , no power save used, tried everything still greyed out! cannot use this nice feature . same thing happened with old note 7

I'm having the same issue, it was working the whole time even when I got my replacement and then it stopped working and now my "Show Notifications" is greyed out as well. Everything is up-to-date.
