Galaxy NoteUnfortunately that would be a question for Telstra.
They are always late for software updates.

Galaxy NoteIt's not just Telstra, Optus and Vodafone do the same thing.
The difference is Telstra had a horrible history of slow update testing/approval.
Also, this isn't only affecting Samsung.
Google, Nokia etc go through the same process.

Galaxy NoteHi @Aliko, phones purchased from the Samsung store will be XSA variants. The SIM used does not affect software updates, it depends on which variant the device is.

Galaxy NoteSo in other words it seems samsung is stuffing us around. I think I might be done with samsung as well, just need to look into a replacement and when my contract ends in July I will move on.

Galaxy NoteTelstra and the other carriers do in fact do their own testing, despite what the live chat team told you.
Telstra testing info here:
https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/announcements/new-device-updates-tool/ba-p/638399
And on their crowd support forums, a Telstra customer posted their annoyance and info from Telstra about update delays:
https://crowdsupport.telstra.com.au/t5/samsung/galaxy-note-20-ultra-security-updates/td-p/948865
And as further proof, here's Vodafone's Android update page:
https://www.vodafone.com.au/support/device/software-updates
This is why Samsung Australia has 4 different CSC codes on their devices.
XSA - Samsung
OPS - Optus
TEL - Telstrra
VAU- Vodafone

Galaxy NoteHi @Aliko and @talon90, I understand your frustration with the current software releases. At the present, I am still awaiting on an updated Notices schedule for any changes to the March releases.
For your reference, the Note20 Ultra update was already released for the following variants:
XSA - January 7
Optus - January 29
Vodafone - February 8
