We are stuck in a software engineering mess. Typical example of bad management in a software requirement and analysis course because timely update is not their main concern. The main issue/root cause in android smartphones with updates is not even android itself, it's the current state of tempering with the core android and the carriers. #1 Carriers SHOULD not have anything to say on the OS update because they simply don't. #2 Software maintenance and testing should fall in line with timely updates. 3rd September 2019 for android 10 is the worst update, it's laughable, it's a Mëme. I would be so curious to hear their engineers on this. I'm sure it's not even them, it's again, a project manager somewhere. Eh boy, i hate bad project managers.
Community manager are having headaches with updates, well yeah! The root causes is cancer deep inside the way things are handle and it will be like this until then. What about I buy another phone some will say? Eh boy, what about I'm right I say. I could write a thousand scenario where the user want timely updates for software architecture purposes.
Samsung has bad software ever since. 15 years without SAMSUNG and I just purchased a A10e....... trying to wake phone without having to go into biometrics. tried double tapp, proximity sensor... lots of 3rd party apps but non work.
