Does anyone know if there is anyway to make the always on display brighter, an app or adb command, or anything? I was recently doing some work outside and had my reminder list pinned to my AOD and it was barely visible outside on a sunny day, had to shade the screen to read it. I'm using a Note 8 on pie.

You SHOULD be able to go to Settings - AOD and Toggle OFF Auto Brightness & Slide to Max 🐧

This toggle only exists on the S9 and up due to hardware reasons.

If you set your screen brightness to auto it might change the brightness on your AOD automatically to be brighter in the sun. That's how i have it setup on my note 8 and I'm pretty sure it gets brighter in more light. I haven't really paid much attention to it though.

ya I already have it set to auto, i never paid much attention to it either till I started doing this job where I'm outside and im using my reminders list that I pinned to my AOD to manage a list of tasks, I'm pretty sure it is brightening a bit compared to what it would be in a dark environment but it's just not brought enough
