Do a little search on the forums here for "ads". You'll find above of 100 complaints about them, plus all the comments that aren't counted towards the total. Samsung's reaction? Automatically playing huge video ads in the Galaxy Store.
Here's that brilliant idea in action:

That garbage would be auto-playing each time you open the app, along with draining your mobile data if you do not go disable it in Settings, following the latest update.

You can pretend that people don't mind that much about ads but this shows a profound lack of interest into what your customers want and need. And, because they couldn't resist double-dipping, when you scroll past the video ad, a banner ad replaces it.

Aw what, that lame in-your-face farce didn't convince you to install a poorly made and useless app? Come on, pwease install? Pwetty pwease?

This comes a few weeks after that push ads fiasco, starring the same garbage app.
Please try and do something incredible: listening to your customers. People didn't like the banner ads. How's adding more, more prominently going to help? You're only alienating your customers here. Each ad is a push towards other OEMs. With growing concerns like privacy, it's not the time to show Apple et al. as better companies! And you guys are not invincible. Microsoft and BlackBerry were dominant players and they crashed in part because they ignored their customers' needs. HTC was a giant Android OEM that died so fast no-one knew what happened. LG as well. Please don't act so arrogantly vis à vis your customers.

Just look at the difference between Google Fit & Samsung Health.

Google certainly isn't an angel, but I detest the Ads in Samsung's apps vs Google's.

I think if samsung where to try to actually justify the whole ad thing I think the best approach would be to say we don't collect or sell our users data like Google. So we show ads to pay for the service......... but honestly that would be leaving money on the table for samsung and we all know samsung is all about that money 💰. So it's safe to say samsung also sells our data also.

It's educational 😁 you can learn what new apps are available and how they can help you with your life's chores 🤣
In the meanwhile, Samsung is getting richer 👀

This is too much now when video ads implement. Half of the screen is the video ads. So sad they choose this path.

Not sure if this help, but under Settings of Galaxy Store, we can choose never auto play videos. The video ads will not play at all. But again, half screen of ad is 💬

Samsung says they put ads to ensure they can provide service free. Like Samsung health weather pay etc

I find it absolutely crazy how people let samsung get away with this. Samsung at this point is the face of Android and they are butchering their reputation among their most loyal users.
