Bixby Routines just updated a feature to toggle the 120hz active display.  This allows the user to disable 120hz (adaptive)and force WQHD+ when using an app like Netflix or Prime.  This allows you to get the most put of your display.  And when you close the app, it reverts back to your adaptive setting as you would want.  So you can now get the best of bother worlds.
