Super Steady is turned on and the video becomes super grainy.

Video is smoother with Super Steady turned off.

Super steady is only for videos.

Instead by default the built in OIS is already at work when you click the shutter button and by using the photo mode.

Exactly my issue. For a premium device, that video quality is unacceptable. Why even have that mode there if it's unusable?

Super steady mode should only be used in an appropriate lightning conditions and given that you are capturing videos in a shaky enviroment.

You cant just turn use the feature without the above scenarios.
