I have put my S9 on the charger overnight many times and yes it is completely safe. The phone will automatically stop charging once the battery reaches 100% full. This will not cause any damage to the battery and the phone.

how about using a dual charger with phone setting of fast charging leaving the phone overnight? The charging indicator of the dual charger doesn't turn off once it reaches to 100 percent.

Yes, the phone stop charging once it's fully charged. You shouldn't be seeing any red or green light.

Hi Piolo0328, As mentioned by our Samsung members, it is safe and won't cause any damage to the device but make sure you use the original charger which is not defective and connected properly.
