Attempted to revert my Samsung note to older version after not liking the new version and now I cant recover all my notes! I just found out only 14 had been saved to the cloud! Any way I can recover my notes???

Your deleted notes should be store in the Trash folder.

I had updated to the new version but when I went into the settings to basically revert back to origional version it said it would delete all noted but I didn't read that part clearly before I agreed and then when I tried accessing the cloud only 14 out of hundreds of notes were recovered. I guess it stopped syncing at some point?

Was your sync toggled off? It shouldn't stop syncing unless its turned off.

Hi NineMA,

If you are running the latest version of Samsung Notes, we have an option called "My old notes" and you can access them from there.

I'm starting to understand now. You have updated to the latest version(Samsung Notes v 4.x), and decided to roll back to v3.x? Did you install on top of current application, or clean installed?

1. Notes from v3.x and v4.x are not cross compatible between the two versions.
2. Locally stored notes aren't backed up will not be kept, because you rolled back application version, and isn't cross compatible.

Have you backed up your phone onto your computer with SmartSwitch prior to the changes? If yes, try restoring your Notes from the backup. They should be compatible with your notes application if you rolled back to v3.x

That's a great help @ctangabc. I appreciate your efforts.

It seems like backup is the only option left and otherwise, it is not possible to get them back.
