Dual Whatsapp have a big big problem.

It doesn't send photos, videos, or voice messages.

It's folder is not exist in Gallery.

Whatsapp says that they don't have any problem and it is related to Samsung

I am a samsung user for 15 years but if you don't really fix this critical issue I will move to Apple platform and forget this careless company for ever.

You don't care about your customers feedback.

You care about the revenue and the money that people pay to make 10 different models every month and launch them in the market.

Hi @ayham_aboalheem, sorry to hear that you're having this issue with Whatsapp, and have this perspective of Samsung. We do take customer feedback very seriously, and always do our best to take suggestions on board to improve our products and services.

With the Whatsapp issue, a software update will be released to resolve this issue of dual Whatsapp's files not appearing in Gallery. The issue arose due to the file path being changed for where media files are saved.

Whilst you're waiting for this update to be release, can you please ensure that all your WhatsApp files are backed up?

We thank you for bringing this to our attention and hope to resolve this soon. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to let us know.

Thanks for the reply

I did factory reset twice and the problem still persists.

I trust that Whatsapp doesn't have a problem.

Usually all these bugs come from Samsung only.

Hi @dinnu476, if you are still experiencing this issue. I suggest sending through an error report as well for our team to investigate why this is still occurring.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.

@SamsungLaura Hi Laura, thanks for the response. I am unsure on how to generate the error log for thr Dual Whatsapp. The app is not crashing. The issue is only with media. I am not able to send any media and could download any received media. Similar to the issue explained. I have tried deleting and reinstalling the application twice but still the issue persist. Also, it doesnt allow me to backup my messages and import messages from backup during the startup. 😒

Bottom line is, no media exchange is being supported in dual whataspp app. No issues with the primary whatsapp application. It works fine.

Good morning @dinnu476, I am sorry to hear the issue persists even after reinstalling. In this case I strongly suggest sending through an error report via the Samsung Members app for this to be looked into by our research and development team. This can help us investigate whether the issue is linked to a software update, or the app developer.

To send an error report:

Samsung Members > Get help > Error reports > select issue category > describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘send system log data’ > Send in top right.
