Mine Note8 works perfect after Oreo update. I did not factory reset my phone or wipe cache at all and battery life have 22Hr+.

I'm really thinking that you might want to have your battery tested... 10 hours total is not normal.. Unless you are running benchmark tests non stop for 10 hours.. Which I doubt 🐧

this procedure won't 'reduce' a single bug that might eventually come with Oreo.

Unless your phone is filled with junk files factory resetting after a major update doesn't do much.

I do a clean install for any major OS upgrade. I find doing this gives me the least amount of issues and complaints I generally see with some users who install over an older OS. My method is overkill though as I do 3x cache wipes, 3x factory resets, install and another 3x cache wipes, 3x factory resets. I don't mind as it cleans out old junk and refreshes my Note 8. lol
