Fingerprint or screen protector

Greetings to your friends Samsung galaxy note 10+. I would like to ask you one question, which is fingerprint. I just changed the new screen protector to the phone note 10. After changing it, why can't fingerprints be used anymore and can't scan on fingerprints? Is it a screen protector or a phone problem?

it's the screen protector problem, the technology used by Samsung for their s10 & note10 underscreen fingerprint sensor is ultrasonic, not like the others which uses light and camera to capture your fingerprint, this caused the condition for the fingerprint sensor to works stricter. however, it's more secure.

in short, use a thinner screen protector for the fingerprint scanner to work, for it to work the best, use your phone without the screen protector

I've never used a screen protector on my s9, it's been 1 and a half years now and I haven't broke it, dropped a few times but it's fine, I hate that screen protector disrupt my experience when using such premium device, especially if you use the S10 or Note10, the screen protector makes the hole stand out even more. Plus, the glass Samsung use on their phone from S9 onwards is thicker, you can actually notice it from the lights reflection where the glass connect with the metal frame.

thank you for the infomation you gave me. but there will be other problems such as the possibility of an LCD screen crashing without a screen protector. Or other suggestions like using a screen protector that is slightly thinner than usual, which is why I use a very thick screen protector

well, there's one glass screen protector that stood out as the solution for this problem, it's very expensive but it seems to have a very good quality, it's Whitestone Doom glass, you might want to check it out on YouTube

u can just use high quality matte screen protector and use high quality bumper case. im using s10+ and ive used both tempered glass and hot-tempered glass(matte SP), the fingerprint sensor with matte is much faster and u dont even need to put pressure when scanning compare to glass. when i was using the glass, it failed to recognize my fingerprint 100% and u neet to press harder.

trust me a high quality case with matte screen protector is enough. been facing lots of drops and still 0 scratch 👍

for the case im using X-One, SP im using standard matte screen protector (its like rubbery and anti-fingerprint)
