Galaxy NoteI have just bought a Galaxy Note 7 (received it yesterday). I can't install any apps or use some apps via my wifi connection. I can browse using google app and chrome just fine. I can however install all apps and use all apps over my 4g data. I can install all apps and use my apps when I'm connected to my work wifi and my parent's wifi. Most people would think it's my internet connection but WRONG. My wife's Galaxy Note 5 can download and use apps over our wifi and so can my Galaxy Tab S, Laptop and Windows tablet. So it seems it's only the new Galaxy Note 7 that I bought is doing this. Here is what I have done to try to resolve the issues so far:
1. Reboot my phone
2. Factory Reset my phone
3. Force Stop Google Play Store app cleared cache and deleted data and restarted phone.
4. Turn on and Off wifi, forget network and reconnect. But none of this has helped. Something must be off with this phone.
Samsung Canada's answer was to take it to an approved repair facility which to me sounds absurd, a $1200 phone that is two days old deserves a replacement I would think even more so given how odd and hard to diagnose this issue has been. I have seen this issue happen to a few people on a couple of different forums for the S7 edge with no one having a concrete fix for the problem.
anyone having this issue feel free to spout off because you aren't alone.
Just an update, I've since tested this on a few other wifi connections and the problem is now persistent. I can't update any of my apps in the play store unless connected to LTE, I also don't get emails pushed through unless on my data connection. I'm starting to think I have a faulty wifi radio in my Note 7. funny thing to note I just tried to update this post via wifi and it wouldn't allow it due to network connection, only when I switched wifi off and use my data connection can I edit this post. this phone is quickly becoming the most expensive paperweight I've ever purchased.

I have tried that, also changed setting to remove ipv6 and also made a guest Network (I heard this could fix it) but nothing works.

Is the wifi network hidden? I've seen issues with some odd devices not being able to find a network when it's a hidden ssid

i had a problem with the google play store that was unrelated to yours... in the menu optuon you can request a support callback... for me i had them on the line within 5 mins... their person spent a couple hours with me to resolve the issue.. if its only google play then give them a call

return it. I'd if its faulty your warranty will cover you. plus if you read the fine print. there is a 15 days return policy. It's unfortunate because it a very nice device.
