My phone has this green vertical line sa display. I've heard some who got their phone repaired free of cost after reaching out to samsung ceo (idk if this is true though). Baka may idea po kayo aside from having my phone repaired sa service center (which will take a long time and a hefty cost)

Screen burn. Not sure about replacement being free but the only fix is screen replacement and it cost much.

Hey there, Ford17!

This is an issue that we've found happens in AMOLED screens, but not restricted to Samsung devices - other Android brands, and even iOS have reported the same green line issue on their own devices.

When you get a green line, it usually means that the display is compromised at a hardware level - the power ribbon connecting the display to the motherboard may have experienced a short, or the display may have damage that cannot be seen by the naked eye.

That said, repairing the green line usually warrants a screen replacement. Please visit a nearby authorized Service Center for this.

You can find the nearest service center to you here: http://smsng.co/SCLocator-SM 📍

📱 We also made it easy for you to book your appointment! You may do so directly from the Support tab on your Samsung Members app.

🛵 If you're from Metro Manila and cannot find the time to personally visit a service center, you can have it picked up*!

To book your pickup, you may call the following numbers:
