Hi! my photos and WhatsApp cannot back up as no Google storage space. thought the photos not in my device storage. Do I need to buy Google storage space? please advise.
Hi, yes now WhatsApp backup will take up ur Google storage. As a default for all accounts, will come with a free 15 GB storage. Any higher, will require a subscription to upgrade to 100 GB or higher.
If you don't mind paying about $2.79 per month for 100 GB of storage, then go for it. If u are cheapo like me, then I will try to remove stuff that I don't need on Google and instead, backup these files to my laptop. Keeping those on Google for essential files that u will need to access frequently.
