I have N20U with Exynos 990. If you haven't tried or really used the US version Snapdragon 851+, you wouldn't notice or mind that extra chip speed at all. Also buying in the Phl gives you 2x memory storage and AKG wired earphones, aside from freebie of Buds+.

Unless you are able to buy a Snapdragon version here in the Philippines, then get a Exynos model. Buying one here has it's perks of having a dual sim, 12gb ram, akg earphone and an additional promotional item, depending what is being offered. Also if you get an Exynos Ph model you are guaranteed that it can access the 5G services in our country. As I have read some users of Snapdragon here in the Philippines can't access Globe/Smart 5G.

Yes, exy is good enough for general usage.
Used both local variant (exy) and hongkong variant (sd).
Hk sd variant pros and cons:
Pros:
-more efficient on prolonged heavy usage/loads
-faster video processing/rendering
- 512gb internal option is available
- With free clear case
Cons
-no local samsung warranty coverage
-incomplete Philippine 5G bands support (5G NR bands 5, 8, and 40 are currently not enabled)
-included charger brick has type G plug (uk standard). Probably you'll need an adaptor most of the time making it bulky
