Why not store all your contacts on Google contacts and connect them to Samsung's contacts app. That's what I do on mine, all contacts are synced with Google, no local contacts on my phone. Better for backup too

yes, that's what I do. The only problem is that Google sync everything everything! just found out we can't delete hangout contacts, only hide or block. then it sync emails and Google plus but I don't use them.
so when I go on the web browser on Google contacts, I clean out those junk contacts like emails I sent to support or online purchase... but those Google contacts are sync to Samsung contacts. now, I try to do a sync in the contact app and it shows all the contacts again. I have to do the delete again (both on Google contacts and Samsung) but there's no pc version for Samsung contact, only the phone app.

Have never had to do that so I'm not sure why yours do that. My Samsung contacts show Google contacts and it's always clean, nothing gets added. In contacts app, go to 3 dots top right, then Manage contacts. You can adjust options there

Try it out. delete or create a new contact on Google. then sync it. then choose your default storage contact list as Samsung, you will see the contact is different from the Samsung contacts and Google. you can check your Google contacts pc and it's still not the same as your phone.
