I downloaded an update last night. It says it was a system update. Took minutes. Since then, my battery runs out with 60-90mins!!!!! I have had to fully charge my phone (note 9) twice today and it's come close to running out 3 other times! I usually get AT LEAST a full day from it

Anyone else had this issue and how do I fix it? Can I remove the update somehow? It has totally screwed up my phone. Very pissed off!!!!

One of the best practices after an update is to perform wiping cache partition, specially if you are having issues after the update. This cleans up those left overs or any corrupted files.

There's a lot of youtube tutorial how to do this. It's better to look for a video than me typing the steps here. 😁

The only updated steps there is you will need to be connected to your computer via usb-c cable when doing it.

Hey @poshbunny

I am sorry to hear you are having this issue. I suggest sending an error report within 2-3 minutes of the issue occurring for this to be investigated by our research and development team. Error reports assist with identifying any deviations in your device performance. Once analyzed, our team will get back to you with a response to advise further steps.

To send an error report:
Samsung Members app > Support > Error reports > select issue category > Describe issue and frequency > Tick ‘Send system log data’ > ‘Send’ in top right.

Kind Regards,

Thank you for this welcome info. I am waiting for A15 on my S21 Ultra and expect some problems but I hope not but if I do then at least I know where I can get help for an 80 year old if I need it. Well done ❤❤❤
