Mobile data always active icon

I used the mobile data always active in developer  options and it changed my icon of course. How do I get it back to just showing the wifi icon? I have turn it off and even disabled developer options but just greyed the 4g out.

Just want my wifi icon by itself again!

try restarting your device

sometimes also when you open the self service app (my bell, my virgin etc) it uses data i guess for verification. try clearing your memory if you had it open.

Disable Download Booster in Settings/Connections/Others

Does that activate when you turn that setting on?

So simple but didn't come to mind when activated in developer options.
Curious, will it affect the downloads from the play store?

The lte is not on when you see it grey like that, download booster will notify you when its downloading from lte, you'll also see the lte logo become white when in lte download.
