Multiple windows

hey guys, how do I open open split screens on the Note 8. like run Internet explorer and youtube. on note 4, you just drag the window from top corner. but how is it done on note 8

If it's the same as on my S8+, press the recent apps button (button left corner) then select the app you want to use in multi window by pressing the multi window button and then select the next app.

I don't see that option on internet explorer

I don't remember if I had to turn this option on but you can just hold the recent button and it'll turn it into split screen. You can also create App Pairs in the edge menu so that you can quick launch YouTube and Internet at the same time or whatever you want. To do this just pull up the Edge and find the tab called Apps Edge, from there you can select an empty space and then it'll pull up an edit menu, top right corner there will be an option to "Create App Pair"

There is a setting for it, hit the recent button and then use the drop down setting to find settings and there will be an option there for the ability to hold the recent button for multi window

ok. I found the app pairs. but is there a better .method than always having to create a pair. maybe it's not used often.

Yeah the recent menu option is the best cause all you have to do is hold it once you turn the setting on
