I got a note 9 and when I plug usb in my car music plays on phone but not through car stereo anymore did when I first got and after my first update it no longer works why?
One thing you can try is changing the "Use USB for" option. When you first connect the phone, swipe down to open the notifications and you'll see a small Android system tab that says "USB for ..." On clicking that, you can control what the connection is for! Make sure that "Charging phone only" isnt selected, as that may be why it isnt working. My guess is that "Transferring files" is supposed to be selected, as the purpose is to transfer music over.
TLDR: Make sure the connection isnt on "Charging phone only"!
