N20U glass spontaneously broke

Hi. I've had a Note 20 Ultra since around launch. Yesterday I woke up, and the glass covering the the ultrawide lens had a fairly circular hole. It's not just cracked, there is an actual hole there. 

I did some research but I could only find this happening to the S20 line, though since they were quite similar, I was wondering whether it was a problem anyone else had or had seen something about this. It occured without any external pressure.

The break on my phone looks exactly the same as in the images on the articles.

Due to its age, I believe the warranty may be expired. Is there a way to get it repaired for a lower price (The pricing is absurd) considering it appears to be a manufacturing problem?

Based on what you've described, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.
