New S-Pen sticks out the bottom on Note 20 Ultra

I replaced my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra s-pen with a genuine unit and the new pen sticks out about 2cm from the bottom of the phone. It fits in the slot perfectly but bottoms out and wont go in any further. Thinking I had purchased the wrong unit I ordered another pen from a different supplier with the same result. The box says that the pen is for the correct device.

Are there two different size pens??

Any ideas?

Do you still have the box? Can you take a picture of the model number?

And there's nothing that's stuck in the slot?

No nothing in the slot, the old one got dropped on the floor and I broke it so it came out of the slot just fine.20230325_175746.jpg20230325_175734.jpg

It doesn't look right looks too big I hated the pen for my s20 ultra it was small and awkward
Might be for a note 20 but not the ultra

S22 pen will work on your phone won't fit the slot

Based on what you've described, I recommend for you to head into your nearest authorised service centre with your proof of purchase so that we can take a closer look into this. Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.
