I had android 13 update couple of weeks ago but sadly i've faced problem with my accelerometer after the update. the phone shows the wrong orientation. when i hold the phone horizontally, the screen rotates into landscape and viceversa. restarting the phone solve the problem temprorily but it comes back again after 3 or 4 days.

Unfortunately reset factory didn't solve the problem. It is really annoying

Weird, my initial reply disappeared.. 🤔

I'd check to see if it's a hardware issue to start with.

Open the Samsung Members app & Click on Support, bottom right, Diagnostics & View Tests, run the Diagnostics for the Sensors. See if you get any error messages.

If a Reboot temporarily fixes the problem with the Sensor, I'm a bit surprised that a Factory Reset did not fix it permanently..

Depending on the results of the Diagnostics, you may want to visit a Samsung Service Centre.

You could also check out this app, GPS Status and Toolbox, see if you have the same sensor issue with it?

Thanks for your respond. I performed the diagnosis test for sensors by the Samsung members app and the result was normal for all of them.
I have checked plenty of forums looking for solution then i found some people who has brought their phones to the Samsung service center to flash them but the problem popped up again a few days later they mentioned.
I have no idea what to do.

Did you try installing GPS Status and Toolbox?

Just curious to see if you get the same issue?

There's a paid version of the app, if you don't like Ads (which I don't), but you can use it for free if you want.

Yes I installed the app. it works normal for a few days but the  pitch/roll shows the wrong direction once the problem comes back. the calibration has no effect. the only solution is to restart the phone which is temporarily. my only hope was a bug fixing update however it seems Samsung doesn't care 😞

Well, if a Factory Reset didn't fix it, and you aren't getting any error messages from the Diagnostics on Samsung Members, really the only thing that I can think of is to visit a Samsung Service Centre, and get a tech to check it out.

I really don't think that any update is likely to fix the issue, as I haven't seen anyone else reporting this issue.

Here's a link to locating a Samsung Service Centre.. Good luck 🤞🏻

I have the same problems after the update! I did some tests, everything is fine. It helps to reboot the phone for a few days. It's strange to have such problems on a premium phone!

Same error! Looks like it's firmware problem with new One UI. Because there is no problem before update.
