Galaxy NoteYour phone should have come with Samsung's pre-installed plastic screen protector. Did you remove it?
Before you contact Samsung for repair, have you tried the interactive tests for the screen on the Samsung Members app? The interactive self test should also work with the Spen.
I had a touch issue on a previous phone & in my case a factory reset resolved the touch issue on my phone.
During Covid, anything is better than visiting a Samsung service center!
