I personally don't find a need for this update, as I would carefully allow certain apps that I install to access my data, and my phone is set to remove permissions on apps that I haven't used in a given amount of time. However, Permission Manager is a great tool to use when you want to see an overwiew of the apps that are permitted to access your location, camera, mic and more. This one-stop-shop is great place to review what you've allowed as a user, and make the necessary corrections as needed.
