After I received the Android 10 firmware update today, my phone prompted me both within the Gallery app and the Samsung Cloud app to integrate my Microsoft account with my Samsung account. The idea is I can then migrate my Samsung data to my Microsoft OneDrive account for storage. I have an Office 365 account with 1 terabyte of OneDrive storage. However when I click okay to integrate my Microsoft account and Samsung account it opens a page that prompts me to log into my Microsoft account and after I have entered my Microsoft username it tells me that my account does not exist. I phoned Microsoft and asked them about this and they told me that this happens because the Samsung phone actually opens a login page for a Live or Hotmail account rather than the correct login page for a Microsoft account. Has anyone else ran into this issue and found a workaround?

I guess I'll answer...
Is your MS account a business/school account or a personal account you made yourself?
It won't work with a professional account (like @company.com, @school.edu etc)

I have personal 0365 account with 1 tera, and I was able to sync them today. The only thing odd that I noticed is that I had to use the two step authentication twice, as in, one right after the other.. otherwise good... onedrive even disables the pre-existing sync (to avoid double sync), and informs you so.

my only complaint with the sync is that I had to change my camera save location to internal storage instead of sd card. previously onedrive would allow photo back up from sd card.
it's not a big deal, but previously I was able to hot swap sd cards when shooting 4k event videos and still have them backed up

I dont have an SD in my current N10+ (first time ever without one)...but i think the requirement to use onboarding is associated with some crappy cards not able to lay down some of the data rich requirements, such as 4k. I know in my N9 that I had problems with a card. Samsung doesnt want to take the blame for an external card.
