Problem with samsung notes, page disappears..

There seem to be some problem with samsung notes. If you try to amend or add some written notes on a already prepared or written note , as soon as your finger rest on the screen with samsung pen in your hand, the previous writing on the whole page disappears. ( this happens lot of the time but not every time) The only way to retrieve the lost page is to go to the three dots on upper right corner of page and choose the option called sort pages. This is very annoying as some very important written note page can disappear without warning. Now I am afraid to amend any thing on the written notes. Please fix this issue, as I love samsung notes feature and don't want to feel frightened to use this feature. Thanks. Vikram

Hi Vikram, that's odd. I recommend backing up all of your notes first and then trying to uninstall and reinstall Samsung Notes from the Galaxy Store. This can help with fixing any potential glitches that may be occurring in the app. 

Alternatively, after backing up, you can also try going to your Settings > apps > Samsung notes  > storage > clear data and clear cache.

Hi, I have a problem with my samsung note. I have a locked note, I unlock it but I don't know the password so I reset it and after I reset it that locked note vanished. What will I do to retrieve it?

Hi @DKim09, you will only be able to retrieve your Samsung Notes if you had set up a backup before the reset.

To do this:

Samsung Notes > ☰ > Gear icon > and choose from either 'Sync with Samsung Cloud', 'Sync with Microsoft OneNote', or 'Import data from'.

Yes, I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app.
Now it was able to update to the latest version.
Finally.

Hi again, Vikram, this is strange. Could you also try going to Settings > Apps > Samsung Notes > ⋮ > Uninstall updates and then restart your device?

Hi again Vikram, I have received news about an upcoming software update which will resolve this issue. Please keep an eye out towards the end of the month for a Samsung Notes app update. :)
