S-note alternatives

I'm sorely disappointed south having bought a note 10+ 512gb now that I see that S-note is gone. I have found Samsung Notes as a replacement, but it is quite lacking by comparison to s-note from the Note, Note 3, and Note 4 that I'm coming from. What happened to bring able to place text anywhere on the page? 

What happened to pages?

What happened to being able to place and move anything around the page?

What happened to the invisible but super useful snap top grid?

Where are the plethora of paragraph and text options?

Without a great app like S-note for the Note 10 why did I buy this phone. Feels like a waste of money to have a gimmicky stylus and no good app. 

Anyone else feel like this?

Anyone find any alternatives?

Any way to install an old S-note apk?

I haven't used S Note and Samsung Note in awhile. I have switched over to One Note only because of cross platform compatibility. I can work off the same note from my desktop, Surface Pro and Note 10+. But I'm a basic note taker/user.

I'll have to try One Note. In the mean time I've found the latest apk for S-note by googling it. comes from an apk backup site.
I've installed Samsung S Note 5.2.06.19

August 23, 2019 and it seems to work just fine at the moment. I'll probably find out the hard way why Google play lists the app as incompatible.

Ya when I jumped to the Note 8 and now 10+ I have missed S Note as it was/is much better than Samsung Notes but I've gotten used to it that it's still usable but seeing Vic20 mention One Note I may give that a shot now too and see how that goes.

Fogey, report back on that version of S Note if it keeps working for you or if you find out "the hard way" as you mentioned lol, curious if that version of S Note is ok?

It has been working beautifully. For now I'm not seriously looking at One Note, but that may be the exit strategy if it stops working once Android 10 comes.

If you remove your S-Pen the top option should be Notes.

I loved S-note and I don't like Samsung Note. Alternative - Squid (some time ago was called Papyrus). You can download old S-note apk and install it, but there will be bugs 😞 sorry...

Ich bin Handwerker, der viel Aufmaße (Skizzen+Fotos+Notizen) auf ein A4 "Blatt" bringen möchte.

S-Note ist seit Jahren mein fast perfekter Begleiter.

Habe alle Anderen ausprobiert !!!

S Note läßt sich derzeit immer noch am besten nutzen.

Mit OneNote übe ich schon seit einiger Zeit.

Das größte Manko, ich möchte ein karriertes A4 Blatt formatieren, das ich auf dem Handy, Tablett und später Drucker auch A4 habe  !!!!!!!!

Bei Note 2016 (Destop) ging das mal. Die Kamerafunktion ist auf den verschiedenen Geräten auch nicht immer gleich, das ist Scheiße 😞
