Samsung note 20 ultra pattern

Hi there. I have a galaxy note 20 ultra. I had an up date request and did as all ways.but this time it changed my lock pattern and then I toke my Lao top to maybe find out the problem it also changed the pin on my laptop .any ways I managed to sin in again in to my lap top but my phone gives me no option to get past the pattern. Like the lap top showed me forgotten pin and security question etc and I was back in. Not so with my note 20 ultra. I have to wait 25 hours each time to I trai again.

I never had this happening before. Any help be so much appreciated .I do not wone factory reset because I have lots of sms and voice messages on there from my partner I sadly lost and this are my only memories I have to hear her voice.

Can you sign in to samsung smartthings on your laptop? If you can, go your phone in there you shoup be able to find the setting to unlock and then you can change it

If I'm not mistaken, they removed that feature one or two years ago.

That's the old How To (dated 2023). If you try it now, you won't see that option anymore.

It's no longer an option.
Certainly, it doesn't show up for my device

That's with Android 16 & One UI 8.

Hi @Beatmachine,

Unfortunately, if your PIN has been forgotten or lost, there is no way to unlock the device without resetting it. 

As @_nok_ and @Dolgogi have mentioned above, the remote unlock option was removed some time ago.
