Apple is very successful in sustaining their user experience. Put it simply, their product roadmap and models are so well structured and optimised for continuous support for many years. This is a proven and successful model. Question is, if Samsung wants to counter Apple on user experience and loyalty, isn't they need to start revising their product strategies to optimise the user support and experience? Buying a flagship device from Samsung VS Apple, we knew capable hw can last for many years and not just 3 years as Samsung offers and stop receiving major platform updates. Samsung can do better for sure. What do you think?

This could soon change with Samsung partnership with Google on building a new OS called Fuchsia. Samsung devices could have quick updates.

If Google has better hw and design, guess what, many will just put their $ on Google to get multi years support flagships.

Try walking into an Apple Store and a Samsung Experience Store. You can feel the vast difference.

Samsung can just cover 1-2 mid-low range models and flagships, curent so many overlapping models make buyers confused. Hence they need to do so much redundant support coverage. Less is more Samsung!

My Samsung S20 screen started flickering after 1.5 years. Their CSO insisted on $280 screen replacement according to their warranty SOP, like it is given for their product to fail after a year. Haiz. Very sad and disappointed with Samsung customer experience 😔

After the standard warranty period, always much more expensive to do repair at the OEM side. Go outside for compatible parts. But I do agree with you, the right to repair at reasonable cost is paramount to maintain good customer experience.

Weird to be asking on a Samsung forum... But are your an Apple user? If yes, is it a big jump and is it easy to get used from Samsung to Apple. I have been with Samsung for a very long period and loved them! Kinda disappointed by the current cust exp. Am thinking whether I should switch to other brands.

I am on mac n ipad..but phone is samsung. I wish Samsung can help to reduce tech waste by making good use of capable hw. Why stopped at 3 major upgrades when the hw can run almost 4-5 yrs now?
