So I found this Samsung feature which could be very useful but it doesn't really work. I did not received any emergency message from my spouse. Yet, when I sent to her, she received only the coordinates with maps, no audio or front / rear camera. What is needed for this to work?
1) does it need to be supported by carrier or default message app. I use Yaata.
2) must data, location be on before
3) must the phone be in the home screen to send. Cannot be lock

it is a great feature an it does work whit the phone locked. records 3 - 5 seconds of audio sends location and takes a pic with the front and back camera.

you don't get anything back. that's odd I never had any issues with it. maybe try a restart after you set it up.
