SERVICE CENTER PROBLEM

Plan to bring my note phone sa service center due to battery problem, but sabi sa service center hindi nila inaaccept yung unit for repair kung galing sa ibang bansa binili na walang proof of purchase, nakaklaungkot naman khit willing ako to pay, eto tengga yung phone ko,  buti me spare na phone na nagagamit, bkit kaya ganun ung policy? any idea?

I think its policy. Sometimes iba internals ng mga units from other countries. So baka it becomes a compatibility issue?
