Is it possible to get a dot to display on the text messages icon on the home screen?

Hi @felton,
Go Setting- search "bubbles"- bubbles click- (can be seen) Bubble-messages,  all, selected only or none.
I love bubbles 🍾 ha ha.

Can you help me with getting back my text messages to my phone number I've got 3 apps Messenger Connected to Facebook Messages app and a similar but my text messages to my phone number aren't sending me Netcode SMS or MMS or text messages to my phone number my banking details My Drivers License is Proof if ID verify needed to recharge my mobile number

You might need to change the default message app to Samsung message. Hope you can resove this issue.

@brettlyndeveringham as Yong_kim mentioned, you may need to change the default for text messages.

You can do this by going to Settings/Apps/Choose default apps.

Then tap on the text: SMSapp, this will open a screen allowing you to choose which app should be the default for SMS/text.
The apps displayed to choose from will vary, depending on what's installed.

You want a red dot rather than a number?

Press and hold an empty space on the home screen, then tap on Settings.
Scroll down until you see App icon badges, tap that and then you can select to have a dot rather than a number.

Please keep in mind that this will apply to all apps, not just txt messages.
