Can you guys look into upgrading the UI OS for note 8,9 10, 20 series. The phones are still sold in the market and you have stopped support some of these devices. Why? Why force people to experiment with their devices or upgrade. They are not cheap. So, please review this request. Thanks
Never going to happen, but I like your wishful thinking.
Samsung fairly recently has increased the number of OS Updates to 4, and while the Note 8 could likely handle One UI V5.1, it's not in Samsung's interest to provide it.
I do think that Samsung should at least unlock the Bootloaders on devices that they are no longer providing OS Updates for though!
Flashing Firmware is not as risky as it may seem, but you do need to know what you are doing.
I still have my perfectly working Note9. Unfortunately it was dropped after 4 years and screen cracked. Still debating on getting a new phone and I guess no more updates on Note9 will be a deciding factor.
