Galaxy NoteIt's a brand new Note 8 replacement and I move my original SIM card over. Telus support does not sound confident and cannot explain it but wants to push updates to my SIM card. She cannot explain what they are what they do or why. Frankly after two days of setting up and configuring my new phone I'm understandably nervous about what she may do.
Does anyone have experience or information on either of these please?

@shaggyskunks9p after the ellipsis menu it asks for your cell # to send an access code, then as I posted... and shoulda coulda, in a perfect world.... so carrier is the next logical step...
Tx all... I'm still working on setting up my new phone but I'll wait now till Monday morning to call them... amazing what you learn about these things reading the manual.

Galaxy NoteIf your phone plan does not include the code for wifi calling it shouldn't be an issue the system normally adds it by itself.
Try removing the sim, shutting the phone off, remove the sim restart after all steps
