A missing option on S22 Ultra

I was hoping that Samsung would

bring more options to the 108mpx mode

(by making it available in Expert

Raw, for instance, or allowing the

user to hold the phone still for

longer so the HDR becomes as good

as in binned mode).

If you have a tripod, you can: 

• take one photo in Expert Raw;
• a second one in 108mpx;
• upscale in Photoshop the one from Expert Raw; 
• merge both together.

But it is so time-consuming! Our S22

Ultra could do something similar

through the software

We would get a high-quality photo

from Expert Raw that could be

enlarged as needed. And we should

have this option! (The S22 Ultra wasn't cheap...)

I don't think writing this message here will change anything... I guess that Samsung absolutely want us to upgrade to the S23U. 

However, as a reminder to Samsung,even Apple allows you to shoot in full resolution + RAW... Even Apple! That says everything.

12 mp shot + 108 mp shot merged together (the result will probably be compressed in this app)

Even though the photo is compressed, but the details are very sharp after enlarge.

True! It still looks cleaner than a standard 12 mp photo (I think).

Thank you! Yes, I think that the "Camera Assistant" GoodLock module could be the ideal solution to make such features available. But we will see...
