S 7. In settings, then Apps, then special access, that allow unrestricted data usage. what is that as where should most of them be to or on or off? I've got about half of them on that's half off. And I'm more concerned here about battery usage consumption more than data usage because I've got a big plans plan for that. It's just that my battery seems to be discharging faster than normal, and I'm looking at ways to reduce

If you restrict data to app let say Facebook, if you are not using Facebook, Android won't allow Facebook to use data in background.
Any app on restrict data list won't be able to access to data until they are opened.

so it is like shutting off data accessm & any use of while like the app is sleeping/not in use , is it ? so if i turn those switches to "On" they wont be restricted & always be on/able for data service, is that it/right ?

When data saver on, it restricts background data. Giving that permission to app. Permission will exclude that app from data saver.

It won't have impact on battery life. Also if your data saver is off, all apps have full access. Don't bother with that setting if you don't put your phone on data saver.

DO NOT OPEN THAT LINK or you will be flooded with ads and might even get pop-up ads on your phone all the time. I repeat, DO NOT OPEN THAT LINK. This person is only trying to make money from S Members with stolen content. Don't reward this shameful behavior.
