Already updated to One UI 6.1 but still pops up to update phone

As the title states, I have already updated my S22u (Korean Variant) phone to One UI 6.1 (with AI features) on May 2, 2023, however, just this week, my phone keeps notifying me to update my phone with One UI 6.1 (still the same security patch), so I'm wondering what this is.

I hope Samsung explains or sheds light on this concern.

Thanks for the insight however, they could've labeled it that way coz usually they put labels if the update meant for bug fixes. Hehehe Do you know how to disable the notification tho?

No problem. Yeah, sometimes the labeling can be a bit confusing. To disable software update notifications, you can go to Settings > Software update > then turn off 'Download updates automatically' and 'Auto-download over Wi-Fi'. This should stop the notifications. Will One Ui 6.1 be available to Galaxy A05s? If yes, when?

That update is a Monthly Security Fix. A One UI Jump update would include a long list of major features being added to the device, a monthly security update meanwhile will just state "Device stability improvements, bug fixes" etc. A monthly security patch may be distributed once or twice a month.

That is just an Security Update on your phone, they release it every month
