I have a S20 plus, with Telus, and have installed the new Android 11 OS.  Since I have done that, my wifi keeps disconnecting constantly.  I have to shut the wifi off and back on again.  It lasts for a few minutes and the lose connection.  My wifi is good because every other device works fine and my phone does the same thing on the wifi at work.  Has anyone had this issue?  I'm really considering flashing back to Android 10.  Thanks!

have you done Wipe Cache Partition after update, if you do that, I feel the problems which you have after the update will fix.

1. Reset Network Settings
2. Under Wifi in Settings 》 Go to Advanced Wifi Setting by clicking on three dots 》 Turn Of Power Saving Mode
4. Same page as above make sure Switch to Mobile Data is turned off
5. Under Device Developer Settings 》 Turn on Wifi Throttling and Wifi Safe Mode
6. Restart and see if the issue is resolved.

Thanks everyone.

Hi Redbeard13, Please try performing the wipe cache partition by following the instruction below as suggested by @Cibi.

  1. Turn off the device.
  2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
  3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
  4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
  5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
  6. Press Bixby / Power key to select.
  7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select.
  8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
  9. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

If you are still experiencing the issue please try the suggestion provided by @BadFella and check if the issue got resolved.

hi everyone, thanks for all the help. The network reset did not work. But clearing the cache partition seemed to have done the trick! I have been on my wifi now an hour and it hasn't disconnected, so I'm taking that as a good sign. Thank you everyone for your help.

just an FYI, this so called "fix" worked for less than a day and it's back to the way it was. I've tried deleting the cache partition twice with again with no luck.. oh well

I'm having this issue also on my A50. It started since I updated from Android 10 to 11.

I've tried the reset cache solution but my phone refuded to enter the option, it just goes straight to booting up. I pressed the volume up + power but it keeps booting instead. Please help, it's frustrating.
