According to Telus website (https://forum.telus.com/t5/Mobility/Software-Update-Schedule/ta-p/127707) which took off the info, we should be able to get our hands on Android 14 by tomorrow 4th October.

Is that plausible since Canada has not been targeted for the betas?

Google will alos hold its conference for thr new Pixel 8 and Pixel Watch 2 the same day.

You are misunderstanding what Android 14 release date means.

What they are talking about is Google Pixel devices may be getting Android 14 or October 4th.

Samsung is still in it's Beta phase.

The EARLIEST that One UI V6.0 Stable might be released, is the end of October, early November is more likely.

Samsung does not run Google's version of Android 14. Samsung runs IT'S version of Android, One UI, and in this case, One UI V6.0 is the next version.

Your link just takes you to the device update schedule page which doesn't say Android 14 is coming tomorrow that I can see.

I really doubt it could be happening yet anyways

Yup, confused about OS versions.

As mentioned, seems like they updated the page and took off the info. Even SamMobile seems to say the same thing: https://www.sammobile.com/news/google-android-14-launch-tomorrow/

Thanks for the clarification.
Coming from iOS it's definitely a whole different way to understand those betas for Android.

Seems like we won't have to wait too long! The S23 stable version is rolling out in Europe (France, Germany, UK, Poland): https://www.androidpolice.com/samsung-galaxy-s23-stable-one-ui-6-update-live/
