well android p Is not even out publicly as a release, its only in beta. But when it does samsung takes a very long time before it rolls it out. galaxy s7 is most likely NOT to get it since it's already done its 2 major OS upgrade.
It's also past its 2 year cycle which means it's probably approached EoL. Which also means no security updates. That's actually a more bigger issue and concern over an OS.
@CHMutimedia yes it does. But I'm guessing the S6 might be dropped soon in software support. Hopefully it won't and will have at least another year or if really lucky 2 more years of security patch support (which I think would be more wishful thinking).
