I could you a bit of insight.
2 apps. GMAIL and Amazon shopping keep stopping.
I have a S9+
I cleared the system cache and no change.
I go to the apps settings and clear out the data for both apps.
Both apps then run.
Once closed, the apps will ot run again.
If I clear out their data, again they will run once.
I have lots of space available on both internal and external storage.
As an additional piece of information, my device did a self restart about 5 days ago. My device has never restarted on its own in the past.
This is the first time that I have experienced this type of behaviour.
I would prefer not to do a full reload of the device.

Is there any app that can check my device for bad system components?

Do I have bad external memory ? Bad internal memory ?

Thanks inadvance for any help that you can provide.

If you have seen the previous post, Android System Webview causing the problem.

You can go to Settings > Apps > Android System Webview. Click 3 dots on top right and uninstall.

Or you can Open Google Play Store, search Android System Webview, then click Uninstall.

Also, if Android System Webview is disable on your device, you have to disable Chrome..it will work too
Don't forget to disable Automatic update in the Play Store

Hi Pupusik,

We apologize for the inconvenience, this seems to be an issue with Google. This can be fixed by uninstalling the updates of the Android Web view as mentioned by  and Cassidy.

Glad to know that it is fixed after following the instructions provided by
