Am not sure if this happens to anyone. I downloaded an app from the Google Play Store and when checking for updates for this app. Instead of finding this app in the Google Play Store for update, it's in the Galaxy Store awaiting update.
Is this normal?, how do I fix this?

What is the app?

You can try Clearing Cache and Data for the Play Store, or Uninstall it from the Play Store & download it from the Galaxy Store.

Tinder. But this is the third app that this has happened to. And yes, I uninstalled the app and downloaded it from the Galaxy Store. However, this should not be the case. If I download from Google Play Store, I expect the update to be in the Play store and not in the Galaxy Store.

I've got a couple of apps which are available on both the Play Store & Galaxy Store, ie: Netflix.. and I am able to update it using either of the Stores. I'm not sure why there's an issue with the app you mentioned?

Hi JaguarS23.

Please follow the instructions provided by RedDogRabbit to Clear cache and Data for the Play store. You can also try uninstalling the app and installing it again.

Thank you.

I get updates from the Galaxy Store and right after the update I check the Play Store and an update then becomes available for that app. Strange behaviour.
