I can't seem to choose the 96 khz audio bitrate quality on Samsung S24 when using my momentum 4 s over high quality audio.

What codec does that TWS support?
Go in to developers mode and enable that codec IF supported

AAC and SBS is defaulted for just about every smartphone today.

LDAC and Samsung's own hires variable bitrate are the only others supported.

It has aptx HD and aptx losless. I did go to Developer mode and saw that the codex is aptx HD but I couldn't choose 96 khz. The momentum 4 headphones are suppose to go up to 96khz

Hi WRR2380,

The Samsung Galaxy S24 supports high-quality audio codecs like aptX HD, but selecting specific bitrate settings, such as 96 kHz, depends on the compatibility between the phone, the Bluetooth codec, and the Momentum 4 headphones.

Please ensure your Momentum 4 headphones are connected using aptX Adaptive or aptX Lossless (you can check this in Developer Options under "Bluetooth Audio Codec").

Verify that the app or audio source you’re using supports high-resolution audio.

If 96 kHz isn't selectable, the limitation may be on the codec negotiation between the phone and the headphones.

Thank you.

I use Tidal which support 96khz Audio. But something that I would like to say is that the phone isn't finding the aptX lossless audio rather it is using the aptX hd audio which could explain the cause
