Battery drain issues

For the last month or two, my battery has barely been lasting 16 hours; it started before the last software update, so I was hopeful that the update would help, but it hasn't... in fact, it seems to have gotten worse. 
My activity hasn't changed much - so I'm not quite sure why I should have to charge my phone once during the day, when I used to charge it overnight, and was good for 36, if not 48 hours. 

Anyone else experiencing this?

Samsung S24 Ultra; One UI 7.0, Android 15.

*edited to add: I have run battery diagnostics and checked background usage - no issues with either

Since you've already checked diagnostics and background usage, we recommend the following additional steps:

Wipe Cache Partition (can help post-update):
  - Power off > Hold Volume Up + Power
  - Select Wipe cache partition using volume keys > Confirm with Power
  - Reboot

Battery Usage Graph: Check Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge — see if any app is unusually high.

Submit Feedback: Through Samsung Members > Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > Battery this helps our software team investigate.

Thanks for the response... but it started before thr update.
I'll try your suggestion anyways.
