Standby has been terrible in past few days. And every apps draining the battery faster than ever. It doesn't show any apps that is running in the background. And when it comes to the battery setting, I don't see any apps that were running in standby time but draining the battery faster than ever.
The phone gets hotter a lot often compare before.
The last update was september, but this battery changes happened just days ago.
I don't understand why the battery and temperature just suddenly gotten worse, and it is even cold in my place anymore since summer has been over. But it has been performing hot more often, and battery has been draining fast.

It sounds like an issue with recently installed apps, or a change in some settings.

What I would do is:

  • Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.
  • Use Device Care to see if there's any misbehaving apps & put them to sleep.
  • Temporarily disable or Uninstall any recently installed apps & see if the issue is resolved?

I think that it's unlikely to be a Hardware or Software (Samsung's One UI) issue.

You could Boot into Safe Mode, as that will disable any 3rd party apps, but it won't tell you which app(s) may be causing the problem.

  • Press and hold the
    Power button and
Volume down button (right edge) until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.

  • Touch and hold
Power off until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  • To confirm, tap
    Safe mode  .
The process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
  • With Safe Mode enabled, ensure Airplane Mode is turned off then test device and app functionality.

To exit Safe Mode, simply Reboot.

Hey, I noticed the since I ever updated my sound assistant, it has been draining my battery faster. Is there anyway i can downgrade it? So I can see if it really is from updated sound assistant?

You could Uninstall Sound Assistant & download the previous version from apk mirror, but I doubt that it is the issue.

5.1.0.6 sound assistant eith flex volume ui is the version where i uninstalled the app cuz of battery draining.
Imma tell you this, batter gotten a lot better when i uninstalled it. You actually notice with new version of sound assistant, whenever i click volume there is two volume sliders that are showing. The other one is the media volume, while the other is a specific app volume that is somehow there for no reason even i am not using the app. Unlike the old sound assistant, even you press the 3 dots in volume slider, no apps that is not running in the background will be displayed there.

Depends on what settings you have for Sound Assistant.

I had mine with two slider whenever I clicked the volume button.
The media one and a random app that is in there for no reason.
And idk how to even only have 1 volume slider.
Idk how to change it. But for now I won't download back the soundassiatant for now. To see how battery will change
